DAY 3: PAVING THE WAY

FORWARD & GALA DINNER

A Sneak Peak into Day 3!

Day 3 of our 15-year MSLS reunion was all about reflecting on the two first days full of old and new friendships and using the collective intelligence of our network to explore both the tangible as well as intangible ways of staying connected in the future. For this purpose, our alumni started the day remembering their warmest memories of their MSLS experience, then went for a quiet reflection walk, that was followed by sharing their concrete project ideas with the network in a Pro-Action Café to get support with moving those ideas forward.
After three days of (re)connection, playfulness and paving the way forward, it was finally time to celebrate 15 years of the MSLS Programme with a festive gala dinner on the beautiful campus of the Blekinge Institute of Technology with an open mic performing of songs, stories and poems, like this poem by Maaike Boumans, that we've put here to remind you of the invitation from the universe that is always out there for us.

If I

If I was a vessel, would you use me - for something greater than yourself?
If I was a dream, then would you unfold me to the sweetest reality
If I was a path, then would walk me - bare feet so you can touch me
If I was love then would you dare to feel me, express me
If I was a kiss would you taste me with your lips
If I was truth would you speak me, BE me, even if no one wants to see or hear me
If I was joy would you find me in all the places and all the people that you meet
If I was struggle would you smile to me, knowing I am only temporary
If I am fear would you recognise me and realise what lies underneath
If I am laughter would you welcome me in the darkest hours
If I am a journey would you take me to the places I have never been
If I am pain would you allow me to show you what hurts
If I am your heart, would you care for me, don’t overly protect me because I am strong
If I am your feet would you walk with me, dance with me, run with me through fields of grass and in these concrete cities
If I am a question would you drop me - in the middle of a heated debate
If I am wisdom would you let me speak through you
If I am freedom would you fight for me, when I get taken away, when I was never there in the first place
If I am your home, would you carry me around, show me new places, introduce me to people. would you let me change shape?
If I am silence would you make room for me, at least once every single day?
If I am all of your relations, the rivers, the oceans, the seas, the grasses and trees, the birds and the bees,
if I am all of your relations, would you take care of me, protect and defend me, knowing you cannot live without me?
If I am gratitude would you voice me
over and over and over again
saying thank you.
thank you.
If I am life - would you live me?
